🚧 Driveway Culvert Applications

All applications for new driveway culvert pipes in Panola County must be submitted in person at the Panola County Land Development Office.

📍 Application Requirements

To complete your application, please ensure you have the following:

Property Deed: A copy of the recorded property deed must be provided at the time of filing. Location will be assigned an E-911 address.

Site Marking: Applicants must mark the requested location using official flags provided by our office at the time of application.

🛣️ Provision & Installation Policy

Panola County maintains specific guidelines to ensure proper road drainage:

Eligibility: Only one (1) culvert pipe is provided per active residential homestead/dwelling.

Jurisdiction: This service is only available for dwellings located on the County Road Right-of-Way.

Compliance: Approval is subject to compliance with the Panola County Culvert Policy.

⚠️ Important: State Highway Notice

If your property is located on a state-maintained highway (such as Hwy 6, Hwy 51, or Hwy 35), Panola County does not handle the culvert installation. You must apply for a permit through the MDOT District 2 Office right here in Batesville.
